The acquisition was for 100% of the branch of Officine Poletto that manufactures machinery for the tanning segment, as reported by Tannery International. “An opportunity we couldn’t let slip”, explained Enrico Gastaldello, manager of Syn-Bios along with his brother Daniele.
The comment
“Just a few years ago nobody thought it would be possible to close this operation. As entrepreneurs, we as a family analyzed the situation and decided this was an opportunity we were able to capitalize on – explains Mr. Gastaldello -. The economic efforts to support this activity were adequate. Moreover, we believe that there is the margin for an important re-launching initiative. We didn’t think it to be a gamble from an entrepreneurial standpoint, but rather a well-thought and proper opportunity”.
