Technology from the United States to evaluate rough leather

Ultrasonic sound waves to check for invisible naked eye damage on the first tannin material (without compromising on integrity). It is the project to which the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA), the Agricultural Research Service (ARS), works with an annual budget of $ 1.1 billion and is committed to finding a solution for the entire agri-food industry. Ultrasonic scanning promises not only to identify any imperfections but also to make a first evaluation of the characteristics of the first tannic material, such as strength and softness. In keeping with the pragmatic spirit of the US, ARS plans to arrive at the marketing of technology (which AgResearch Magazine has written in mid-August) already within the next three years.
