At “Leather-Pro Tutti” the secrets of leather goods to become a top-notch artisan. The Institute of Excellence Jobs (IME) founded by LVMH in 2014, has decided to expand its training in Italy by choosing Polimoda Florence as a partner. The goal is to grow a new generation of leather artisans. The first course, Leather-Pro, “a professional carpenter course”, will be aimed at 12 students and “totally free” thanks to the funding of the European Social Fund. IME, born to form new “artisan professionals”, organises training programs by developing partnerships with fashion schools and collaborating with LVMH brands, in particular, Bulgari, Dior, Céline, Fendi, Loro Piana, Louis Vuitton, Veuve Clicquot and Zenith. The lessons will begin in October 2017 at the Design Lab Polimoda of Scandicci alternating with insights and master classes at Palazzo Pucci, headquarters of IME in Italy, and the LVMH ateliers.
