The fourth edition of “Adotta una Scuola” is about to begin: Altagamma’s initiative that continues to promote the manufacturing trades of Made in Italy. In collaboration with the Ministry of Education and Merit and under the patronage of the European Commission, the project involved 59 companies, 65 schools in 12 Italian regions, more than 250 classes and more than 3,500 students. Starting this year, Lineapelle will also guarantee its support to two institutes, thus increasing its commitment to education as well. The goal remains the same: to respond to the growing demand for technical-professional figures that combine craft and digital skills, supporting the competitiveness of the Italian manufacturing sector.
Lineapelle’s encore
For this edition, as we said, Lineapelle will support two classes from the Calasanzio Institute in Empoli and one class from the Santissima Annunziata Institute also in Empoli. Among the new participants (25 this edition) are brands such as Automobili Lamborghini, Bellavista, Boffi, Brunello Cucinelli, Buccellati, Ca’ del Bosco, Calvisius, Canali, Dainese, Ducati, Fantini, Ferrari, Ginori 1735, L’Albereta, Manifatture Sigaro Toscano, Max Mara, Missoni, OTB, Tod’s, Versace and Villa d’Este.
Lazzaroni’s words
“Protecting and promoting craftsmanship skills is crucial for our businesses that make manufacturing a strategic ingredient of their success. We are convinced that the project can help change the perception of trades now rediscovered by new generations. Italian companies will be looking for 276,000 technical-professional profiles, half of which will not be available: partly because of demographic decline, but also and above all because of persistent prejudices that need to be dispelled. We will continue to work in this direction with the fifth edition of Adotta una Scuola”, stressed Stefania Lazzaroni, Director General of Altagamma. The initiative aims to create a bridge between technical schools, ITS Academy and luxury companies.
